2 in One Day?

My cute cousins after Morgan's Tavaasi concert. Huston was being a punk and just kept staring at her. Here's Sister-Sas and Trouble:

Morg's and I did those growing things, M got a princess and mines a turtle :) we had to watch them all weekend.

Back in the Day

Found some pictures this weekend, they kind of speak for themselves. Kristi and I had a pretty good laugh at them for a while.

Peay Family 1998

this however is the winner and what got the giggles going...

Remember When...

"Hey babe,
Here's a little walk down memory lane to boost your spirits and make you smile!
Remember when Math didn't scare you and you could master the math homework with no fear........get back to the place in your mind where the math is not in control of you but YOU are in control of the math.
Also I thought you'd get a kick out of the karate belt picture you drew way back when!
Hope these made you smile I sure love you!"

I wish math homework still looked like this.... now it looks more like this... :(

and what this picture is, I'm not 100% sure, karate belts apparently?

Now hopefully I can survive midterms week with one less day to do stuff because of the long weekend, I have 3 midterms, 5 math quizzes (2 of them are retakes) + a project/presentation, a lit book to make, 2nd part of my math text book, child development homework plus all my other homework, yikes! but then my bday is on sunday!

Thanks for the email Mom!! It was just what i needed, thanks for putting things in perspective, love you!

A Weekend In Pokie-Tokie

This message was on my neighbors whiteboard, I thought it was cool. They always have uplifting messages, ours has crazy pictures we draw.

No its not what you're thinking, Huston spilled his drink all down my lap at dinner...

I got to play with this cute little baby!

Awesome sunset in Pocatello, pictures don't do it justice.

Morgs had her p.js on under her soccer outfit, it was sweet.

Little Monster, he's too cute!

Grandma told us to smile, so then after the picture I asked Hust if he smiled and he said no i made a face like this...
So i looked at him and laughed and he smiled and said "HAA! I tricked you!" He's a punk but it makes me laugh.

Morgan got socks to match mine, so then she too had to wear the same color as me on the same foot. She thinks she's super cool now! The trend is catching on, sorry family all your kids wear mismatched socks now!

65 days?

65 days until:
JERSEY!!

Okay so 65 days might be a very long count down but I am very excited to go home. I don't know if its that I actually miss Jersey or that it just sounds a lot better than Idaho right now (not that I don't love Idaho). Or that I just miss my family and all of the people in Jersey and want to be home. I've been homesick lately which is weird I don't usually get like that. I think it's because I'm so ready to be done with school. This semester is stressing me out and there's so much going on at home and all my family is together now because Alex finished school and I want to be there. But soon enough, I just have to suck it up and finish it out so I can go home.  Anyway enough moping!

Today i watched a movie called Doggie Poo for my Culture & Diversity class. It's a Japanese Anime movie, pretty sure... and yes it really is about doggie poo. I guess the message behind it is uplifting and stuff but i had a hard time taking talking whiney poop seriously.

Viewer Discretion Advised:

For kicks and giggles you can take a little look at this clip on youtube to see what i had to go through. Yes I'm paying to go to school here to watch videos like this? I know, go figure.

Alex's Mission Call!

My brother Alex got his mission call!! I'm still at school so I skyped Him and took a few pics on my computer while Ali was taking pictures and videos at home. Im so excited for him, he's going to...

Dominican Republic, Santiago Mission!!!!

He reports to the Provo MTC on Sept 7, 2011. His reaction was a little surprising, he kept saying that it wasn't what he expected... he kind of wanted to learn a different language since he is already pretty good at spanish, but he is still pretty excited! I'm so proud of him!

He looks confused, i know. It's okay, he's processing everything thats going on.

Ali took a video and well, her camera doesnt have sound so its kind of pointless. Congrats bud!

"the day Lizzy had a tumble." + more

First of all sometimes it likes to snow in May... thankfully it hasn't done that in a while

Second, i love getting mail! I got a letter from my best friend & it's now hanging on my wall.
<3

Third, i got new glasses! They finally aren't crooked!

Now to the story of the tumble...

I was walking home from class last week and there are 5 steps down this path to my apt complex. Well i was on the last step and i went to step off of it and my ankle (the one that i've messed up a million times from basketball etc.) decided to give out. It rolled right out from underneath me, i went down and landed on it, not all of my weight fortunately. However the rest of my weight landed on my left knee, ripping my pants and leaving a nice little cut and bruise on it. Awesome. I went to stand up and could barely put pressure on it, i limped home and sat down on the couch wanting to cry from the pain. I quickly elevated it, called my mom and she said i should probably go have it checked out, as did my roommates. Stubborn as i am, i didn't want to go, i was just going to wait it out but one of my roommates went and found someone with a car, who then came and got me and drove me to the health center. After talking with the Dr. who when looking at it said,"Well that doesn't look like it should be there. Hmm... it hurts right there doesn't it? (as he pushed on it, and yes it did) had me get x-rays. When the x-rays came back, nothing was broken, he looked at them and said i just pulled some of the ligaments which is why it swelled up and had some color to it. He wrapped it and told me to keep it iced and elevated for a few days, take some ibuprofen and try walking on it as soon as possible so it would heal quickly. Since i still couldn't put weight on it, he gave me crutches to use for a couple days. Anyone who knows me and has ever used crutches knows i only lasted 2 days on them. It was more of a hassle using them walking to campus than anything, so i just limped. But this is the results of falling...

Thank goodness it no longer looks like a tennis ball.

This wouldn't be such a big deal, except ripped jeans are not allowed on BYU-I campus...

You can kind of see the bruise, which is almost gone.

and the oh so dreaded crutches, they were good for one thing... well maybe a few things.
I got a ride home from class, i used them to reach for things when i was on the couch or couldn't reach something in the kitchen, or if i wanted to hit my roommates (kind of kidding on the last one). Overall walking with them, pretty much sucks. The end.

Also apt 21 has been real bored late at night and made a band with that comes a CD we are making on garage band. After this incident Sam & Julia made a song about my fall called, Lizzy Had A Tumble.
Maybe later i'll try posting it.
